I could not see anything
My distance is -5 right and -4.75 left with low add. My eye doctor put these on my eyes in office, and I could was not only NOT able to read, but my distance vision was not there at all. I termed these lenses useless. I am amazed to read the opinions above. I have tried all of the multi-focals out there now, and none have worked. I am back to wearing regular single vision for distance with reading glasses when I read. It is frustrating the hell out of me. I will continue my search.

I am recommending these to my 40 something friends!
At 47, I can't stand the constant need for reading glasses ...and needing to keep a pair in every room! My distance is also starting to change. I had never worn contacts before so I am a late bloomer. The minute they were in I WAS seeing in high definition. They are great! Just needed to get used to the feeling of something in my eye. Vision is crisp and clear, day and night...close and far. Amazing really. Only having slight issues with dry eyes which lubricating drops take care of during the day.

BC too steep for me
I really loved the Purevision lenses. I tried wearing the spherical lenses first then switched to the multifocal ones. Even though my vision was not only greatly corrected but it also became much clearer and crisper with them both. Unfortunately, I was unable to wear them because I need a flatter base curve -- the right lens would rub my cornea so badly that I would have an irritated red streak for days. I had to switch to Proclear multifocal lenses for the 8.7 BC, but I really regret losing the fabulous clarity I had with the Purevision lenses. If B&L had a wider range of BCs, I would have given this review all fives. Hey, B&L! Do you ever read these comments?

Purevision Multifocal
I tried Purevision multis with a high add power and whilst my close vision was great driving was difficult - I switched to a low add power and really do notice the difference as both distance and close vision feel really natural and effortless. I'm really pleased with the service I receive from AC Lens by the way - always reliable and a very flexible responsive service.

Great Vision
I was having problems reading anything. Went to the eye doc and told him the problem.He gave me these to try. These things are the bomb I have no problems reading at all no halos nothing like regular lenses. I love these
